The 34-year-old Bulgarian seeks rhythm ahead of Roland Garros qualifying, but faces a motivated 22-year-old American (No. 115, 203cm server) who breezed through qualifying here with straight-set wins over Coleman Wong and Elias Ymer, gaining vital match reps on site. No head-to-head history; Damm's recent Montpellier semifinal adds clay momentum, while Dimitrov's pedigree tempers trader consensus on the upset potential.
