Alexandrescou, unranked or low-ranked at No. 1276 with a 16-10 clay record at lower ITF levels, advanced via walkover when qualifier Thanasi Kokkinakis withdrew, limiting his match sharpness. Holmgren's experience, height advantage (188cm vs 168cm), and superior recent form drive the implied probabilities, though the youngster's one-handed backhand could pose upset potential if Holmgren fatigues from a short turnaround. No head-to-head; mild Zagreb spring weather favors steady baseline play.
