Meta Platforms shares have come under pressure in recent sessions after reports surfaced of a potential $145 billion equity raise to fund aggressive AI infrastructure spending, following Q1 2026 results that showed revenue of $56.31 billion and EPS of $10.44, both ahead of consensus. Elevated 2026 capex guidance in the $125–145 billion range and the launch of enterprise AI tools such as the Meta Business Agent continue to shape sentiment, even as the company maintains strong advertising momentum and has authorized a $0.525 quarterly dividend with a June 15 record date. Traders are closely watching broader tech sector risk appetite, Treasury yields, and any near-term updates on capital allocation or AI monetization ahead of the next earnings release in late July.
