Pittsburgh's Mitch Keller (2-1, 3.18 ERA) holds a clear edge over Cincinnati's Brady Singer (2-1, 4.97 ERA) in Thursday's series opener at PNC Park, amplified by the Reds' depleted rotation—Hunter Greene and Nick Lodolo on long-term injured list, Brandon Williamson sidelined with shoulder fatigue as of April 30, and Eugenio Suárez out with an oblique strain. Cincinnati tops the NL Central at 20-11 on hot early form, while the Pirates hover at 16-15; Pittsburgh's home advantage and Jared Triolo's ongoing knee absence factor in, with bullpen depth and recent divisional splits (Pirates up 2-1 head-to-head) shaping trader consensus for this pivotal matchup.
