Atlanta Braves enter Coors Field as NL East leaders at 22-10 with MLB's top offense, averaging 5.58 runs per game amid a 7-3 stretch over their last 10, powering trader sentiment favoring their road prowess (10-4). Grant Holmes (2-1, 3.62 ERA) starts for Atlanta against Colorado's Jose Quintana (1-2, 4.91 ERA), whose recent struggles amplify the hitter-friendly altitude advantage despite mild 60°F weather and low precipitation risk. Rockies sit at 14-18, buoyed by a .254 team batting average but hampered by injuries to Ryan Feltner (tricep), Kris Bryant (back), and multiple pitchers on IL; recent 5-5 form tempers home hopes (7-6). Braves' Matt Olson (9 HR) and Ozzie Albies (hot streak) loom large in this series opener.
