Sho Shimabukuro and Kamil Majchrzak meet in the Birmingham Challenger quarterfinals on outdoor grass, where both players have posted strong service hold rates through the opening rounds. The head-to-head stands at 1-1 overall, with Majchrzak’s hard-court win from 2022 offset by Shimabukuro’s straight-sets grass victory at Ilkley last June. Majchrzak enters ranked higher at world No. 78 compared with Shimabukuro’s No. 103, while recent form for both sits near .500 over the past ten matches. Grass-court tendencies toward shorter rallies and fewer breaks align with the pair’s current tournament serving efficiency, making court-specific adjustments and first-serve percentages the primary variables heading into the match.
