Alexander Zverev, the second seed with multiple prior Roland Garros semifinal appearances, faces 20-year-old Jakub Mensik in the 2026 French Open men's semifinal on clay at Court Philippe Chatrier. Zverev enters after a dominant quarterfinal win and leads their head-to-head 1-0 following a straight-sets victory in Madrid earlier this season. Mensik, in his first Grand Slam semifinal, arrives on strong recent form after defeating João Fonseca, showcasing improved serve percentage and net play on the surface. Both players have had several days of rest, with Zverev's experience in high-stakes matches contrasting Mensik's aggressive baseline game and rising ranking. The encounter pits the German's consistency against the Czech prospect's potential for an upset in best-of-five sets.
