The Atlanta Braves enter this three-game road series against the Chicago White Sox with the majors' best record at 42-21 and first place in the NL East, bolstered by strong recent form that includes becoming the first team to 30 wins. The White Sox sit at 33-29 and second in the AL Central, showing improved offensive output in recent contests. Key Braves injury updates include catcher Drake Baldwin on the 10-day IL with an oblique strain and Sean Murphy shifted to the 60-day IL, potentially affecting defensive stability behind the plate. The series at Guaranteed Rate Field features a matchup between a top-tier NL contender and a rebuilding AL squad, with home-field dynamics and pitching matchups likely shaping outcomes in the early June slate.
