ShoWTimE enters this best-of-three StarCraft II series as the clear favorite, backed by his veteran Protoss pedigree and strong recent form in WardiTV events. Nicoract has shown competitive edge lately, posting a 2-2 record in the Winter Championship group stage with wins that highlighted his aggressive playstyle and map control. Head-to-head results lean heavily toward ShoWTimE, who typically exploits superior macro timing and army composition in these Protoss mirrors. Group stage implications add stakes, as both need points for playoff qualification, though Nicoract could force a longer series with early pressure or strong map picks if he capitalizes on any scouting edges.
