The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. With the Anaheim Ducks holding a 3-2 series lead over the Edmonton Oilers after five games in their first-round Stanley Cup Playoffs matchup, traders heavily favor Over 5.5 total games at 85.2% implied probability, as Game 6 tonight in Edmonton guarantees at least six contests in this best-of-7 affair. Edmonton's dominant 4-1 Game 5 victory—fueled by Leon Draisaitl's two goals and Evan Bouchard's three assists despite his recent lower-body injury recovery and Zach Hyman's lingering issues—staved off elimination and signals Oilers' resilience amid a competitive, high-scoring series marked by Ducks' 7-4 Game 3 rout and 4-3 overtime thriller in Game 4. Anaheim's surprising depth from Jackson LaCombe's playoff-leading eight points and Lukas Dostal's goaltending has extended the matchup, reflecting tight head-to-head dynamics and home-ice shifts driving the extended-series consensus.
