The Minnesota Twins host the Kansas City Royals at Target Field on June 6 with both clubs mired in the AL Central standings, the Twins at 29-35 and the Royals at 25-38. Recent head-to-head results show the teams splitting their first two games of the series, including an 8-6 Royals victory on June 4 and a 5-3 Twins win on June 5. Key roster factors include day-to-day hamstring concerns for Royals infielder Maikel Garcia and shoulder issues for Twins center fielder Byron Buxton, alongside broader pitching staff challenges for both sides. Home-field advantage and bullpen reliability figure prominently in this divisional matchup.
