If the 2025-26 Ligue 2 season is cancelled, postponed after June 12, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for promotion within that timeframe, the corresponding market will “No”. The primary resolution source will be official announcements from Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.ESTAC Troyes has clinched automatic promotion to Ligue 1 with 64 points after 32 matches, their dominant 19-7-6 record and +24 goal difference securing first place amid a strong campaign. The battle for the second automatic spot is razor-tight, with Le Mans FC (58 points) leading AS Saint-Étienne (57 points) by one, following Saint-Étienne's recent home loss and two straight defeats that stalled their momentum. Red Star FC (54 points), Stade de Reims, and Rodez AF (both 52 points) lurk for playoffs, where the top five vie in knockout format against Ligue 1's 16th for the final spot. Recent draws for Le Mans at Grenoble and key wins like Red Star's comeback keep the race on a knife-edge, with pivotal final fixtures including Reims vs. Le Mans and Saint-Étienne at Rodez deciding trader consensus.
