RC Lens holds a commanding six-point lead over third-placed Lyon and fourth-placed Lille in the Ligue 1 table after 30 matches, bolstered by a superior +28 goal difference that provides a crucial tiebreaker edge, driving trader consensus to price them at 94.5% for second place. PSG's recent 3-0 victory at Angers extended their own lead to six points, further solidifying Lens's position despite a 3-0 derby loss to Lille on April 4 that briefly raised concerns. With four matches remaining, Rennes (56 points, fifth) trails closely but requires a perfect run and Lens collapses—such as multiple defeats against sides like Nice—to mount a realistic challenge, while Lyon and Lille must navigate head-to-head fixtures amid tight standings.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Ligue 1 as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
