Lens holds a commanding six-point lead over Lyon and Lille in the Ligue 1 table after 30 matches, with a superior +28 goal difference underscoring their defensive solidity and consistent form, including recent wins that have solidified trader consensus at 94.3% implied probability for second place. PSG's insurmountable lead at the top leaves the spot secure barring catastrophe, as challengers like Lyon (recently beating PSG but inconsistent away) and Lille (strong home record but tied on points) face tougher remaining fixtures, including potential head-to-head clashes. Realistic challenges would require Lens to suffer multiple slip-ups amid minor injury concerns (Sotoca groin, Thauvin ankle) combined with perfect runs from pursuers, an unlikely scenario with four games left.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Ligue 1 as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
