Trader consensus reflects an intensely competitive La Liga relegation scrap after matchday 33, with implied probabilities tightly bunched at 48-49.5% for frontrunners like Athletic Bilbao (41 points, 10th), Real Sociedad (43 points, 8th), and Mallorca (35 points, 17th) as potential survivors. Eight teams from Rayo Vallecano and Valencia (both 39 points) down to Levante (33 points) are separated by just six points, amplified by recent form swings—Elche surging to 38 points with three wins in five, Levante grinding out key victories, while Sevilla's slump (one win in six) heightens vulnerability. Five remaining fixtures, including head-to-heads and tough schedules for mid-table sides, plus head-to-head tiebreakers over goal difference, keep the 17th-place race wide open above the drop zone.
