With five matchdays left in the 2025-26 La Liga season, a razor-thin points gap—just six between 10th-placed Athletic Bilbao (41) and 17th-placed Mallorca (35)—has traders pricing top outcomes like Bilbao, Real Sociedad, Mallorca, and Levante at near-even 49.5% implied probabilities, reflecting the eight-team scrap from Rayo Vallecano to Sevilla. Recent shake-ups, including Real Oviedo's shock 3-0 upset at Celta Vigo, Levante's 1-0 grind over Getafe, and Mallorca's thumping of Rayo, have bunched the table further, erasing gaps amid poor mid-table form from usual safe bets like Sociedad and Betis. Friday's Girona-Mallorca six-pointer and looming head-to-heads amplify volatility, where goal difference and tiebreakers will crown the relegation survivor.
