Erling Haaland's commanding 24-goal tally leads Igor Thiago's 21 in the 2025/26 Premier League Golden Boot race, with only four to five matches left for most contenders, driving trader consensus to a 95.5% implied probability for the Manchester City striker. Haaland's late-season charge, including key strikes in recent fixtures against Arsenal and Chelsea, has extended his edge despite Thiago's penalty prowess (seven of 21 goals), while Brentford faces tougher remaining opponents like Manchester United. Haaland's superior expected goals (23.45) and City’s home-heavy schedule bolster his dominance, rooted in historical finishing efficiency. Realistic challenges include Haaland injury or suspension, paired with Thiago hat-tricks or a City scoring drought.
