Scottie Scheffler holds a slim edge in trader consensus at 21.5% implied probability for the TOUR Championship, but tightly bunched odds reflect the 2025 format change eliminating starting strokes, turning East Lake Golf Club into a pure 72-hole stroke-play battle among the top 30 FedExCup qualifiers. Recent surges fuel the competition: Chris Gotterup's breakout season with two early wins and strong strokes gained: approach metrics vaulted him to 17.5%, matching Adam Scott, Hideki Matsuyama, and Sepp Straka, while Collin Morikawa's elite iron play and top money leader status post-Cadillac Championship at Doral justify his 18% share. Scheffler's world No. 1 consistency and course history anchor the lead, but no player exceeds 22% amid widespread recent top-10 form across contenders.
