Early-season parity persists after Matchday 12 on April 25-28, where top sides secured crucial home wins and clean sheets but dropped points in key fixtures, preventing any runaway lead. Promoted challengers like Machida Zelvia and Tokyo Verdy have exceeded expectations with strong goal differences, bolstering defensive resilience and counterattacking threat, while established powers leverage squad depth and historical title pedigree amid minimal injury disruptions.
