Carlos Alcaraz's commanding 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, 7-5 victory over Novak Djokovic in the 2026 Australian Open men's singles final on February 1 cemented his status as the youngest player to complete the Career Grand Slam, driving Polymarket traders to price his outcome at 100% implied probability as the official champion. As the top seed and world No. 1, Alcaraz dominated the hard courts at Melbourne Park after dropping the first set, showcasing superior pace, precision, and baseline power against the 10-time AO winner. Grigor Dimitrov, priced at 0.1%, exited in the first round to Tomas Machac amid reports of physical struggles. With the result ratified by the ATP and tournament officials, realistic challenges like appeals or disqualifications are negligible absent extraordinary circumstances.
