Tampa Bay Rays enter the series finale at Rogers Centre with a 2-0 edge after 8-5 and 7-6 (10 innings) victories over the Blue Jays, powered by Jonathan Aranda's three RBI including a homer in Game 1 and Taylor Walls' go-ahead single Tuesday. The AL East-leading Rays (28-13) boast MLB's best record amid a 16-2 surge in 18 games and 9-1 last 10, showcasing a .367 slugging percentage recently despite road trip. Toronto (18-24) struggles below .500, hampered by injuries to Jose Berrios (elbow), Max Scherzer (forearm), and Addison Barger (elbow). Probable starters Griffin Jax (1-2, 5.00 ERA) for Tampa Bay versus Dylan Cease (3-1, 2.58 ERA) tilt slightly Toronto's pitching edge, but Rays' momentum and bullpen depth shape trader consensus.
