New York Mets host Detroit Tigers in game two of their interleague series at Citi Field after a 10-2 Mets rout in Monday's opener, boosted by top prospect A.J. Ewing's MLB debut with two RBI. Christian Scott (0-0, 3.27 ERA) starts for the Mets against Framber Valdez (2-2, 4.57 ERA) for the Tigers, amid depleted rotations—Detroit missing Casey Mize, Tarik Skubal, and Kerry Carpenter on the injured list, New York without Kodai Senga. Both sub-.500 clubs (Tigers 19-23, 7-17 road; Mets 16-25) show shaky recent form, with even head-to-head history, home/away splits, and bullpen depth key factors in this trader consensus matchup.
