With Vienna's Wiener Stadthalle primed for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 first semi-final on May 12, recent stand-in rehearsals that kicked off April 25 and the stage reveal earlier this week have intensified trader focus on frontrunners like Finland's high-energy "Liekinheitin" by Linda Lampenius & Pete Parkkonen, Greece's "Ferto" by Akylas, and Sweden's "My System" by Felicia—entries buoyed by strong pre-party performances and prime running order slots set April 2. Among the 15 contenders, including Moldova opener Satoshi and Poland closer Alicja, the top 10 will advance via 50/50 jury-televote, where diaspora support and live staging often spark upsets. Artist arrivals and full rehearsals begin next week, poised to drive momentum shifts before jury shows.
