Otto Virtanen, the defending champion at the 2026 ATP Challenger Birmingham on grass, meets higher-ranked Kamil Majchrzak in the semifinals. Virtanen has shown strong recent form on the surface, advancing through earlier rounds including a tough win over Zhizhen Zhang, while leveraging his 6-foot-4 serve and experience in tiebreaks. Majchrzak brings superior ranking and consistent baseline play but faces a player comfortable on fast grass courts with a favorable draw position. No significant injuries or withdrawals have been reported for either competitor, keeping the focus on surface-specific adaptation and current momentum heading into the match.
