Alexandra Eala enters the Lexus Birmingham Open final as the top seed and clear favorite on grass, where she has dropped zero sets en route to the championship match after straight-sets wins over Priscilla Hon, Alina Charaeva, and Mananchaya Sawangkawe. The 21-year-old Filipino, ranked No. 37, brings superior recent form and experience at this level compared to 20-year-old Nikola Bartunkova, who sits at No. 69 and reached her first WTA 125 final by navigating three-set battles in the later rounds. The pair has no prior head-to-head meetings, but Eala’s grass-court record and consistent serving have defined her path, while Bartunkova’s aggressive baseline play offers upset potential in what shapes up as a competitive title decider.
