The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/athletes).**Ilia Topuria, Alex Pereira, and Islam Makhachev remain tightly bunched in the 2026 pound-for-pound market because each holds a legitimate claim through recent championship success across weight classes.** Topuria enters his June 14 lightweight title unification against Justin Gaethje with an undefeated record and a string of high-profile knockouts that elevated him to the top of most rankings earlier in the year. Pereira, after reclaiming the light heavyweight belt, is attempting a move to heavyweight on the same card, positioning himself for potential three-division history. Makhachev solidified his standing by capturing the welterweight title in late 2025 and holding the current official No. 1 spot. With each fighter active in high-stakes bouts through the remainder of the year, small differences in performance, title defenses, or cross-division matchups could shift the consensus before December.
