Trader consensus overwhelmingly favors Max Holloway at 91.1% implied probability as Conor McGregor's next opponent, driven by recent reports from Ariel Helwani indicating UFC plans for their rematch to headline UFC 329 on July 11 during International Fight Week, corroborated by Dana White's April 19 update on McGregor's return and Holloway's repeated interest. McGregor's extended layoff since his 2021 tibia fracture against Dustin Poirier, coupled with nine USADA tests this year signaling active preparation, underscores the matchup's momentum, building on their 2013 featherweight clash where McGregor dominated via unanimous decision. While unconfirmed, this insider buzz eclipses alternatives like Michael Chandler's prior booking or Jorge Masvidal's potential comeback; realistic challenges include McGregor's injury history derailing plans, an official announcement pivoting to Nate Diaz trilogy or Ian Garry rivalry, or weigh-in withdrawals shifting the main event.
