St. Louis Shock and Palm Beach Royals enter their Group B matchup at the 2026 MLP St. Louis event with closely balanced trader sentiment, reflected in the narrow 52% implied probability favoring the Royals. The Shock benefit from home-court advantage at Chaifetz Arena and stronger recent form, sitting second in standings after a 3-1 victory over the Royals in Columbus group play, where they dominated men's and mixed doubles. The Royals, despite lower overall points, bring competitive depth in co-ed team format with key players like Dekel Bar, creating realistic upset potential in a rematch. Factors such as lineup adjustments, momentum from prior events, and the high-stakes home environment for the Shock could shift probabilities if one side secures early doubles wins or maintains consistency across the four-game format.
