Trader consensus prices Wolves at 70.9% implied probability to finish last in the Premier League table, reflecting their current 20th position with 17 points from 34 matches—three behind 19th-placed Burnley—compounded by a league-worst goal difference of -38 versus Burnley's -34 and paltry 24 goals scored all season. Both clubs secured relegation last week, Wolves first on April 20 after West Ham's result elsewhere, followed by Burnley's 0-1 home defeat to Manchester City on April 22, extending their winless run to eight games amid defensive frailties allowing 62 and 68 goals conceded respectively. With four matches remaining, including a potential final-day clash at Turf Moor, Wolves' inferior points tally and offensive output solidify their status as dead last despite mutual demotion to the Championship.
