This market will resolve according to the listed song which holds the No.1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for the greatest number of weeks in the summer of 2026. For the purposes of this market, only Billboard Hot 100 charts with date labels for weeks in June, July, and August of 2026 will be considered. If more than one song is tied for greatest number of weeks in the No. 1 spot, this market will resolve in favor of the song whose title comes first in alphabetical order. Weeks in the No. 1 spot need not be consecutive. If the resolution source for this market becomes permanently unavailable, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be the official Billboard Hot 100 charts, published on the Billboard website (https://www.billboard.com/charts/hot-100/).The 2026 Song of the Summer market remains wide open, with no single track exceeding 50% implied probability as summer gets underway. Multiple options clustered near or at 50% reflect the absence of a dominant early release or viral breakout, while CHÉVERE, Ariana Grande’s “hate that i made you love me,” and Zara Larsson’s “Midnight Sun” hold modest edges around 35–40% on the strength of initial streaming momentum and promotional timing. Lower-priced contenders face steeper barriers to widespread radio and playlist penetration typical of past summer hits. Key upcoming catalysts include weekly Billboard updates, major festival debuts, and potential late-June drops that could consolidate trader consensus before peak season.
