Rebeka Masarova enters the quarterfinal of the 2026 Lexus Birmingham Open on grass with a clear edge in experience and professional pedigree over American wild card Mary Stoiana. The Swiss player has compiled multiple career titles and substantially higher prize money, facing stronger opposition on average, while Stoiana remains earlier in her development with fewer high-level results. No head-to-head history exists. Both players advanced from the round of 16 in recent matches, though Masarova’s grass-court familiarity and consistent ranking trajectory position her as the consensus favorite in trader pricing. The fast surface may reward strong serving and quick movement, factors that favor the more seasoned competitor absent any late injury or withdrawal news.
