Luca Nardi, the higher-ranked Italian at approximately world No. 163, meets Swiss Remy Bertola in the second round of the Perugia Challenger on outdoor clay. Nardi arrives after a straight-sets victory over Oriol Roca Batalla in his opener, while Bertola advanced in three sets against Lucio Ratti following his Roland Garros qualifying exit. Nardi’s ranking advantage, home-country support, and recent experience on European clay surfaces represent the primary edges reflected in trader positioning. Bertola, ranked around No. 208, has shown competitive form in recent challenger events but faces a stylistic matchup on a surface that typically rewards consistent baseline play and physical endurance. The encounter marks their first meeting, with no prior head-to-head data available.
