Ousmane Dembélé and Michael Olise both feature in France’s deep attacking squad for the 2026 World Cup, creating a tight head-to-head on total goals. Dembélé’s recent club form at PSG, including high goal tallies and individual awards, supports his finishing threat, yet Olise’s creative output and versatility from Bayern Munich have earned him a prominent role alongside Kylian Mbappé. France’s group-stage schedule and rotation among multiple forwards, including Désiré Doué and others, limit guaranteed minutes for either player. Trader consensus reflects this balance, with Olise holding a narrow edge at 52% implied probability driven by expectations around starting XI decisions and stylistic fit in Didier Deschamps’ system. Late squad tweaks, injury updates, or shifts in tactical emphasis could quickly alter the outlook before knockout stages begin.
