The surging St. Louis Cardinals, riding a five-game winning streak capped by a 7-0 shutout of the Mets on June 9, enter the June 11 matchup with strong momentum and a 35-28 record that places them second in the NL Central. New York, at roughly 27-35 and last in the NL East, faces multiple key absences including shortstop Francisco Lindor on the injured list with a calf strain, plus limited availability from other roster members. Cardinals starter Andre Pallante’s ground-ball emphasis matches up favorably against a Mets lineup that has struggled for consistent production, while New York turns to a reliever in Austin Warren for the start. Home-field factors at Citi Field and the clubs’ recent head-to-head results further shape trader views on the series outcome.
