The St. Louis Cardinals (37-30), sitting second in the NL Central, visit the Minnesota Twins (32-39/40) for the finale of their three-game interleague series at Target Field on June 14. Michael McGreevy (3-5, 2.99 ERA) takes the mound for St. Louis against Taj Bradley (5-3, 4.02 ERA) for Minnesota, giving the Cardinals a clear edge in the pitching matchup. The visitors have posted stronger overall form this month and hold a better record despite road challenges, while the Twins have dealt with multiple injuries including catcher Ryan Jeffers on the IL and outfielder Byron Buxton day-to-day with a shoulder issue. Recent series results have been competitive, with both clubs showing power at the plate but the Cardinals benefiting from more consistent run production.
