The Philadelphia Phillies enter Wednesday’s series finale in Toronto after splitting the first two games, highlighted by a 5-2 win on June 8 followed by the Blue Jays’ 3-2 walk-off victory on June 9 behind Dylan Cease’s 11 strikeouts and Brandon Valenzuela’s game-ending single. Philadelphia arrives with momentum from seven wins in its last ten contests and a rotation featuring Jesús Luzardo, while Toronto seeks the series victory at home amid several catcher and pitching injuries, including Max Scherzer on the 15-day IL. Both clubs face roster challenges that could influence lineup stability and bullpen usage in the decisive matchup.
