Pavel Kotov enters as the trader consensus favorite against Yi Zhou in the Busan Challenger round of 32 on outdoor hard courts, leveraging a 2-0 head-to-head advantage, including straight-sets wins in prior meetings. Ranked 254 to Zhou's 219, the Russian veteran shows superior recent hard-court form with deep challenger runs, strong return stats (65% points won), and fewer unforced errors, contrasting the 21-year-old Chinese qualifier's inconsistent serving and higher error counts in recent losses. No injuries or withdrawals reported pre-match; Busan spring weather favors baseline play, heightening Kotov's stylistic edge in this competitive ATP Challenger 125 opener.
