Mercedes holds a commanding 45-point lead in the 2026 F1 Constructors' Championship with 135 points after three Grands Prix, fueled by Kimi Antonelli and George Russell's dominant performances—including wins in Australia, China, and Japan—thanks to the W17's superior chassis balance and energy management under new hybrid regulations. Ferrari trails at 90 points as the primary challenger, showing competitive race pace marred by strategic errors like a virtual safety car misstep in Melbourne, while McLaren's recent Japan podium signals upward momentum to 46 points. Red Bull languishes sixth on 16 points amid RB22 balance woes, mid-corner understeer, reliability DNFs, and Verstappen's Australia crash, explaining their slim 1.7% trader consensus. Miami upgrades loom for rivals, but Mercedes' early wisdom-of-crowds edge persists.
