In the Abidjan 1 Challenger first-round clash on outdoor hard courts, higher-ranked Mert Alkaya (No. 349, career-high 352) holds a clear edge over Digvijaypratap Singh (No. 565, career-high 485), reflecting trader consensus on Alkaya's superior recent form with a 74% win rate in 2026 (23-8 overall) versus Singh's 36% (4-7). No prior head-to-head exists, but Alkaya's strong hard-court results and eighth-seed status outweigh Singh's struggles, including a recent qualifier retirement. No confirmed injuries or withdrawals reported; weather in Abidjan remains hot and humid, potentially favoring endurance. Imminent match resolution hinges on serve holds and break-point conversion amid tight Challenger field dynamics.
