Roman Safiullin holds a clear edge in trader consensus for this Mauthausen Challenger quarterfinal on outdoor clay, driven by his No. 176 ranking—well above David Jorda Sanchis's No. 384—and dominant 13-2 clay record in 2026, capped by an Oeiras 3 Challenger title. The Russian's path featured straight-sets over qualifier Cezar Cretu before a gritty three-set upset of No. 2 seed Titouan Droguet yesterday, showcasing 69% first-serve points won and strong break-point defense. Jorda Sanchis carries qualifier momentum with four straight wins, including straight sets over Daniel Cukierman and wildcard Sandro Kopp, but his longer court time (over six hours) tests endurance in their first head-to-head against Safiullin's fresher legs and experience.
