Nineteen-year-old Spaniard Rafael Jodar (ATP No. 55) carries an eight-match win streak without dropping a set into the Barcelona Open ATP 500 clay semifinals, fueled by Friday's 6-3, 6-2 quarterfinal upset over seventh seed Cameron Norrie on home soil at Pista Rafa Nadal. Arthur Fils (No. 30), leveraging strong recent clay form, advanced past Brandon Nakashima 6-2, 6-3 and second seed Lorenzo Musetti 6-3, 6-4 in the quarters. No prior head-to-head exists, but trader consensus reflects Fils' higher ranking and experience tempered by Jodar's momentum, local support, and unblemished ATP clay record this week, heightening upset potential in this first-time matchup.
