Benjamin Bonzi enters this Libema Open qualifying matchup against Marc Polmans holding a substantial ranking edge, sitting at No. 95 with a career-high of 42 compared to Polmans at No. 347. The Frenchman brings more consistent recent singles activity, including a 2-3 record in 2026, while Polmans has focused primarily on doubles with limited main-draw singles results. Their only prior meeting occurred on clay in 2021, which Bonzi won in straight sets. Grass-court form favors Bonzi’s experience at this level, though Polmans, an Australian, could benefit from any familiarity with faster surfaces. As a first-round qualifier at the ATP 250 event in s-Hertogenbosch, the outcome hinges on current fitness and execution in best-of-three sets.
