Gen.G enters their final VCT Pacific Stage 1 Group Alpha BO3 against Team Secret on a 1-3 record, already eliminated from playoffs alongside their 0-4 opponents, following a dominant 2-0 opening loss to Global Esports and four defeats in their last five series. Team Secret's roster shakeup, including additions of Rimuru and Zeus on long-term deals plus TenTen to reserve, has yielded no series wins this stage, capped by a 1-2 defeat to Nongshim RedForce on April 27 that marked their eighth map loss in nine. Gen.G holds a 4-3 head-to-head edge, including a 2-0 victory in August 2025, positioning traders to weigh momentum voids and stylistic matchups in this pride matchup amid stable patch meta.
