The Philadelphia Phillies (38-32, second in NL East) host the Miami Marlins (35-36, fourth in NL East) for a three-game series at Citizens Bank Park beginning June 15. Philadelphia enters with superior overall form and a strong home record, anchored by ace Zack Wheeler (5-1, 2.22 ERA) in the opener against a Marlins staff featuring Ryan Gusto and dealing with multiple injuries, including starters Eury Pérez and others on the 15- or 60-day IL. Miami has shown flashes of competitiveness but trails in division standings and has struggled to generate consistent offense on the road. Recent roster moves and bullpen depth issues for the Marlins contrast with the Phillies’ more stable lineup featuring Bryce Harper, supporting trader consensus around Philadelphia’s implied edge in game and series outcomes. Weather and bullpen usage could influence late innings.
