In the VCL Spain Rising Stage 3 Phase 2 playoffs lower bracket quarterfinals, KPI Gaming holds momentum entering their BO3 against Ramboot Club after a gritty 2-1 win over HGE Esports yesterday (May 3), with AleZ earning MVP honors on maps including Fracture and Lotus. Ramboot advanced earlier by upsetting HGE 2-0 (April 26) and DNSTY 2-1 (April 27) before a 1-2 upper bracket exit to Otakar Esports (April 28), providing extra rest but testing adaptability. KPI boasts a recent head-to-head edge, defeating Ramboot 2-0 in Phase 1 (April 12), amid stable rosters for both—no changes in the past month. Double-elimination stakes heighten pressure, with map veto and current meta favoring versatile comps.
