Mandatory entered the VCL EMEA Playoffs Lower Bracket Final BO5 against UCAM Esports Club on March 28 with revenge on their mind after UCAM's 2-1 upper bracket semifinal victory three days prior (Corrode 11-7, Bind 13-11, Pearl 13-8). UCAM then dropped 0-2 to Enterprise in the upper final, exposing potential fatigue, while Mandatory grinded through a 2-1 lower round 1 win over Misa Esports, showcasing resilience. Both squads posted strong group stage records—Mandatory 3-1 (rating 1724), UCAM 2-0—amid Patch 12.04 meta favoring adaptable duelist-controller comps. Head-to-head split fuels trader debate on BO5 endurance, roster synergy (no changes), and map veto edges in this double-elimination push for Grand Final berth versus Enterprise.
