The Rockets' back-to-back victories—first a blowout in Game 4, then a defensive stand in Game 5—have extended the best-of-seven matchup despite absences like Kevin Durant's left ankle sprain and Fred VanVleet's ACL tear, with LeBron James anchoring the Lakers. Barring extraordinary circumstances such as league-mandated postponement or catastrophic injuries, the series advances to at least six games, cementing trader consensus.
