This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Rookie of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Kevin McGonigle leads AL Rookie of the Year trader consensus after posting elite contact rates, a .286/.390/.419 slash line, nine stolen bases, and steady Tigers infield playing time since his March 26 debut, including recent walk-off and extra-base hits. Murakami sits second on power (20 homers in limited action) but trails after a .240 average, elevated strikeouts, and a recent hamstring placement on the injured list. Bazzana, DeLauter, and Okamoto remain distant options tied to Guardians and White Sox roles with less consistent production or established major-league track records. The wisdom of crowds reflected in current pricing emphasizes McGonigle’s everyday impact and age-21 profile over raw power or prospect pedigree from the rest of the field.
