This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the CBA. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of CBA per the rules of CBA (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 12, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the CBA; however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Shanghai Dongfang's league-best 38-4 regular season record earned the top seed and quarterfinal bye, yet traders imply just 49% championship odds, trailing Shenzhen Leopards' 52.5% consensus on the third seed's playoff momentum and balanced roster after a 30-12 campaign. The futures market clusters tightly around 43-52% for contenders like Tianjin Pioneers, Qingdao Eagles, and Zhejiang Guangsha Lions, driven by 1/8 finals volatility: upsets including Guangzhou Long-Lions' 93-76 stunner over fifth-seed Guangdong Southern Tigers and Liaoning Flying Leopards' 77-67 win versus Shandong Heroes highlight parity in best-of-three openers. With top-four byes shielding Shanghai, Shenzhen, Zhejiang Guangsha, and Beijing Ducks from early chaos, any advancing underdog could disrupt bracket paths in best-of-five quarterfinals.
