St. Louis Cardinals visit Minnesota Twins at Target Field on June 14 with the series tied 1-1 after the Cardinals erupted for three seventh-inning homers, including Blaze Jordan’s first MLB blast, in a 9-6 win on June 13. The Cardinals sit at 38-30 and rank second in the NL Central while riding strong offensive momentum, having scored heavily in recent contests. The Twins, at 32-40 and third in the AL Central, continue to battle multiple pitching injuries, including Bailey Ober’s elbow, David Festa’s shoulder, and Pablo López’s post-surgery recovery, thinning their rotation depth. Minnesota’s offense features Byron Buxton’s power against right-handers, but recent bullpen struggles and roster attrition have limited their ability to close games. These factors shape trader views on the matchup’s implied probabilities.
